Role summary

You will be one of the first and last people guests interact with during their stay. In this 166-room hotel, you will help ensure a smooth, welcoming experience from arrival to departure. The position reports to the Front Office Manager.

Key duties

  • Welcome guests, manage arrivals and departures, and make the check-in and check-out experience as smooth as possible.
  • Act as a helpful host by answering questions, sharing local tips about Düsseldorf, and finding practical solutions for guest concerns.
  • Handle reservations as well as incoming email and phone enquiries in a dependable manner.
  • Support the small bar located at reception by serving simple drinks and preparing light snacks; this is not a cocktail-focused bar, so the work remains varied.
  • Keep front desk operations running efficiently and coordinate closely with colleagues across all departments.
