Position Overview
Cambridge Educational Institute is hiring a seasoned Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in Abu Dhabi. This full-time, onsite position demands exceptional English communication skills, with confident telephonic interaction across diverse stakeholders. A good understanding of HR practices is essential. The ideal applicant is proactive, digitally proficient, and adept at leveraging AI technologies to enhance executive functions and operational workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Exclusively manage the CEO's schedule, ensuring productive use of time and prioritization of tasks.
- Prepare executive briefings, dashboards, presentations, and analytical reports to support strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and track progress on company-wide strategic projects, ensuring alignment across departments.
- Resolve scheduling and operational challenges proactively to facilitate smooth executive operations.
- Contribute to strategic planning processes and follow through on CEO instructions.
- Implement AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot to draft communications, summarize meetings, automate repetitive tasks, and analyze data for meaningful insights.
- Maintain organized digital filing and document management systems for quick retrieval and efficiency.
- Act as the communication nexus between the CEO and senior leadership, board members, governmental organizations, investors, strategic partners, and external consultants, ensuring discretion and timely follow-ups.
- Handle high-level correspondence, prepare speeches, talking points, and briefing materials, while managing incoming communication with strict confidentiality.
- Organize executive meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, track action items, and coordinate complex travel arrangements locally and internationally.
- Oversee execution of CEO directives across divisions, coordinate cross-functional projects, and assist with budgeting and expense monitoring.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years supporting CEOs or other C-suite executives, ideally in a group or multi-entity organizational context.
- Proven experience with corporate governance and executive-level reporting.
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI platforms and digital productivity tools.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) with familiarity of CRM, ERP, and reporting software considered advantageous.
- Excellent command of English; Arabic knowledge is beneficial.
- Essential HR knowledge to support related duties effectively.
