Estate Operations Director

Position Summary

We seek an experienced operations leader to fully lead an international residential portfolio for a globally notable principal. This role involves hands-on supervision of properties and assets combined with the ability to develop and manage talented teams in different locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee household teams providing consistent service standards across properties including drivers, chefs, housekeepers, maintenance staff, and gardeners, managing scheduling, performance, and all employment decisions independently.
• Ensure flawless property and asset management so that no failures or service disruptions affect the principal, maintaining standardized House Manuals and SOPs for smooth onboarding of new properties.
• Manage vendor relationships and budgets to meet strict cost-control objectives with singular accountability for contracts and expenditures.
• Design and implement verification, reporting, and escalation systems providing real operational insight beyond routine reports, ensuring no risks or operational failures reach the principal.
• Develop and maintain standardized service frameworks that remain consistent despite property, jurisdiction, or staff changes, enabling seamless integration of new properties without interruption.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• At least five years of experience in private residential management, luxury hospitality, or similar high-service sectors.
• Proven leadership of teams of ten or more with full people operations responsibility.
• Skilled in using AI tools professionally.
• Experience managing multiple properties internationally.
• Background in servicing high-net-worth individuals.
• Expertise in creating operational systems from the ground up.
• Strong vendor management and budget discipline.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal hospitality or residential management certification from recognized institutions.
• Experience onboarding new properties into operational standards.
• Knowledge of property automation and smart home technologies.

Compensation and Location

The role offers a total annual package up to $192,500, including a base salary up to $175,000 plus a monthly performance bonus up to 10% of base salary. This role is fully remote and available globally.
