Role Overview
This contract opportunity is for an English Language Specialist focused on transcription work for a client project. The role is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere. The work centers on converting spoken audio into well-formatted written English while keeping a high standard of accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Turn audio recordings into clear, accurate written transcripts.
- Review and refine transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and readability.
- Follow client instructions and transcription formatting standards closely.
- Handle confidential material carefully and maintain discretion at all times.
- Complete transcription assignments within the agreed deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong fluency in English with excellent listening comprehension.
- Previous experience in transcription, proofreading, or editing work.
- Sharp attention to detail and comfort working with structured guidelines.
- Typing ability of at least 60 words per minute.
- Capability to work independently in a remote setting.
