Engineer-Expeditor

Job Overview

We are seeking an Engineer-Expeditor with expertise in structural fabrications and a strong ability to interpret structural drawings alongside general arrangement (GA) plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in vendor management, expediting activities, and welding knowledge, ensuring quality and safety aligned with organization SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute work with focus on quality and adherence to safety standards.
• Manage vendor relationships and conduct on-site expeditions as needed.
• Prepare and maintain detailed plans including three-month, monthly, and weekly scheduling.
• Update daily progress reports efficiently using Excel.
• Provide essential data supporting customer invoicing.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and understand structural details, marking plans, and architectural drawings.
• Oversee resource mobilization and structural assembly processes.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficiency in welding technology, weld quality standards, and weld symbols.
• Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques.
• Strong understanding of structural fabrication and material handling.

Additional Information

The role requires flexibility to travel to vendor locations for expediting work as needed.
