Job description
Job Location
Position based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, with potential overseas assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the TEPNG Project Management System.
- Support the existing CMS by identifying and standardizing project plans, procedures, templates, including presentations and generic documentation across various disciplines to enhance quality and operational efficiency following headquarters guidelines.
- Conduct training for personnel on existing referential systems and design workflows for their essential use and possible integration into Prodom or other digital databases.
- Establish a hierarchical structure of key plans and procedures mirroring the CMS referential to unify project process approaches.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to define or enhance procedures within PPM and project environments.
- Recommend an optimal and standardized project structure, including consolidation of essential documents.
- Offer support and resources to projects by suggesting improvements to their processes and procedures.
- Collect and disseminate lessons learned from Nigerian projects concerning project execution and benchmarks, sharing insights with partners such as Onetech and PJC.
- Provide ongoing feedback to local contractors to foster consistent improvements across projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Certifications such as PMBOK, PMP, Kaizen, or Lean Management belts are advantageous.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in the oil and gas sector, specifically in similar roles.
