About The Role
Silver Fern Farms Pacific, located in Hastings, is seeking a dynamic Employment Coordinator to join their experienced team. This multifaceted position involves overseeing and facilitating employment practices at the site, handling recruitment, selection, and onboarding procedures while maintaining an engaging and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Implement and sustain effective employment practices on-site.
- Coordinate and manage people-centered initiatives and activities, including recruitment and onboarding.
- Provide strong support and service to managers, applicants, and employees.
- Adapt flexibly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Utilize technological tools and social media efficiently for recruitment and communication.
- Plan and organize activities methodically and responsibly.

- Make timely and sound decisions concerning people-related matters.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of New Zealand’s employment laws and HR policies.
- Present effectively to groups to promote the site and its opportunities.
- Collaborate across business units to streamline processes that support skills and technical advancement tailored to business needs.
