About the Employer
A reputable firm specializing in aluminum and glass fabrication, located in Dubai, UAE.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee management of all design and technical documents through the Aconex platform, ensuring accurate versioning, diligent tracking, and punctual submission of documents.
- Maintain up-to-date logs for Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, RFIs, transmittals, and manage technical correspondence in coordination with consultants and the main contractor.
- Compile Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals, gather supplier warranties, and prepare comprehensive project handover files.
- Collaborate with multiple internal departments, suppliers, QA/QC teams, procurement, consultants, and contractors to ensure adherence to documentation standards and facilitate efficient project delivery.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a similar technical field.
- Have a minimum of three years' experience in document control within the façade, aluminum, construction, or engineering sectors.
- Demonstrate advanced practical knowledge of Aconex (mandatory) along with proficiency in handling Shop Drawing Logs, Material Submittals, RFIs, O&M Manuals, Transmittals, and general document control processes.
