Role Overview
The Customer Service Representative role at REVOLVE involves professionally handling inbound communications—calls, chats, SMS, and emails—to deliver exemplary customer support. Representatives embody the brand’s values, ensuring satisfaction and retention while using company-provided equipment. Shifts run from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM PST.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inbound telephone calls, emails, live chats, and SMS providing high-quality customer service.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow up on all communications and escalate unresolved issues as needed to management.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure issues are properly addressed and resolved.
- Work effectively in a team environment to promote a customer-centric workplace.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Ability to collaborate within a team and accept constructive feedback.
- Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to assist customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment.
- Understanding of apparel construction, fabric types, and fashion categories.
- Willingness and flexibility to work required overtime and adjust shifts based on business needs.
Remote Work Requirements
- Operate independently in a virtual work setting.
- Maintain availability and responsiveness during work hours via phone, email, and instant messaging.
- Meet consistent productivity targets.
- Have a quiet, distraction-free workspace with an appropriate desk surface for a laptop and monitor.
- Possess a reliable wired internet connection with speeds of at least 50 Mbps; Wi-Fi is not acceptable.
- Avoid sharing Internet bandwidth with others during working hours, especially for bandwidth-intensive activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum: High School Diploma.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Typing speed of 50+ words per minute.
- Preferred: 1+ year experience in customer service, help desk, or call center roles.
- Typing speed of 60+ words per minute preferred.
- Familiarity with website navigation and web-based tools.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio is advantageous.
Compensation
For those working in California, the estimated hourly wage ranges between $18.50 and $20.00 per hour, considering multiple factors such as experience, skill set, and business needs.
