About the Role

This opportunity invites a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join a newly established service and calibration laboratory in Saudi Arabia. The role is central to daily operations, interfacing with customers and logistic functions while contributing significantly to the development of efficient laboratory processes. This position offers extensive exposure to servicing, logistics handling, and customs coordination within a fast-growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt, clear, and courteous communication focused on maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in resolving client issues with urgency and effectiveness, acting as the main point of contact for inquiries regarding shipment statuses, service progress, and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with technicians and operational teams to fulfill customer expectations.
  • Manage inbound shipment reception including inspection and accurate logging of equipment.
  • Check and verify shipment documentation, reporting any inconsistencies or damages.
  • Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments adhering to organizational guidelines.
  • Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and courier services to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Draft and examine import/export paperwork including commercial invoices and packing lists.
  • Work alongside customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance processes and ensure compliance with Saudi customs regulations (ZATCA).
  • Track shipments diligently, promptly addressing and following up on any delays or issues.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Between three to five years’ experience in customer service, logistics, or related service environments.
  • Hands-on experience handling international shipments and associated documentation.
  • Intermediate familiarity with customs regulations and procedures.
  • Comfortable conducting physical tasks such as receiving, packing, and moving equipment.
  • Experience with Oracle systems.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages.
