About the Role
AECOM is a global leader in infrastructure consulting committed to making a positive impact worldwide. We are inviting applications for the position of Contract Administrator within our Rail projects team based in Dublin. This role involves providing essential support to the Commercial Administration Lead by managing and administering contracts effectively to meet legal and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and finalize contracts ensuring all terms meet legal standards and project policies.
- Keep accurate, comprehensive, and secure records of contracts and associated documents for easy access.
- Identify and address potential risks related to contract activities.
- Serve as a communication link for contract queries with internal and external stakeholders.
- Update the contract management system regularly with current data.
- Explain contract terms and obligations professionally to all relevant parties.
- Track contract milestones, deadlines, renewals, and deliverables diligently.
- Produce reports highlighting contract compliance, status, and performance, and assist in negotiations.
- Manage contract information within databases and systems effectively.
- Support finance tasks linked to contracts such as invoicing and payment processing.
- Provide regular updates on contract performance and administration tasks.
- Promote effective collaboration with vendors, suppliers, and partners.
- Complete additional tasks necessary to fulfill contract administration functions.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial contracts.
- Strong communication skills enabling engagement with stakeholders across all levels.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing abilities to support high-value and complex projects.
- Capability to work well within team-focused and collaborative environments.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication professionalism.
- Ability to oversee governance procedures and deliver quality outcomes.
- In-depth understanding of cost management and contract administration principles.
