Role Overview
The Business Operations & Strategy team, positioned within the Founder’s Office, seeks a professional to spearhead commercial and pricing strategy initiatives. This role entails accelerating enterprise go-to-market efforts by collaborating with the sales and GTM teams to close deals. Responsibilities include framing pricing and packaging strategies, establishing internal deal and pricing processes, preparing proposals, and leading negotiations for enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of deal structuring for enterprise accounts, working closely with account executives and sales leaders to craft proposals and finalize deals.
- Design and continually improve Decagon’s pricing and packaging frameworks.
- Develop and expand internal commercial operation processes as the company scales.
- Gather and interpret pricing and deal metrics to influence strategic company decisions.
- Lead thought leadership in pricing models for agentic AI solutions.
Desired Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in consulting, investment banking, investing, or fast-paced startup environments.
- Intense curiosity and passion for resolving complex challenges.
- Adaptable to fast-changing and ambiguous business contexts, capable of shaping and executing solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, including regular engagement with finance and legal teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication proficiency.
Additional Advantages
- Experience building or scaling a deal desk within a growing or early-stage company.
- Hands-on involvement in deploying Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) platforms.
- Knowledge of consumption-based or usage-based pricing models alongside traditional SaaS subscriptions.
- Skills in SQL or other data analysis tools.

Compensation
Salary ranges between $160,000 and $200,000 annually.
