About the Role
Join IBM's Human Resources & Talent Transformation team in Sydney, where innovation meets people-centric design. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop employee benefits programs tailored to the Australian market, benchmarking against industry competitors to maintain market competitiveness and alignment with business goals.
- Oversee the operational execution of benefits programs by implementing design updates, addressing employee inquiries and issues, and managing day-to-day vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams—including legal, employee relations, communications, and finance—to ensure compliance, coherent messaging, and comprehensive reporting related to benefits programs.
- Handle vendor management to ensure the smooth delivery of benefits, maintaining strong partnerships and negotiating agreements as needed.
- Promptly resolve employee questions or challenges related to benefits, ensuring high-quality service and support.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferred.
- Proven expertise in operational management of employee benefits programs, including implementation, issue resolution, and vendor coordination.
- Experienced collaborator across multiple business functions to uphold compliance, communications, and financial oversight.
- Strong ability to resolve individual employee benefits-related concerns efficiently.
- Exceptional data analysis and validation skills to detect trends, anomalies, and root causes.
- Experience in gathering, cleansing, and integrating data from diverse systems.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate and auditable documentation.
- Proficient with analytical tools and possessing sound understanding of data structures and system workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledgeable of data governance and privacy regulations, adept at handling and anonymizing sensitive data appropriately.
Preferred Experience
- Capability to extract and consolidate both structured and unstructured data across multiple databases and legacy systems.
- Strong understanding of data security and governance mechanisms, including data anonymization processes compliant with privacy regulations.
- Experience in data cleansing, pipeline setup, file naming conventions, and secure data repository maintenance.
- Advanced skills in cross-system data reconciliation, source-to-target verification, data sampling, and enforcing data quality frameworks.
- Expertise in documenting audit trails with detailed logging of analysis, discrepancies, and correction measures.
- Analytical mindset to identify systemic issues and operational drivers behind data irregularities and trends.
- Experience managing vendor performance and validating third-party deliverables for accuracy and contract compliance.
- Proactive risk assessment skills to anticipate potential data quality issues or system constraints.
- Broad perspective to understand the organizational impact of localized data discrepancies.
- Exceptional attention to detail in validation, discrepancy tracking, and adherence to organizational standards.
