About the Role

We are seeking a Bakery Sales Executive to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The role involves greeting and assisting customers warmly, selling bakery products including pastries, bread, and beverages, and managing cash and card transactions efficiently. Maintaining neat and appealing product displays, ensuring timely stock replenishment, and keeping the sales area clean and compliant with food safety standards are also key components of this position. Collaboration with the bakery team is important to maintain smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously and provide professional assistance.
• Sell a variety of bakery items and beverages effectively.
• Accurately process cash and card payments.
• Maintain visually attractive product displays and restock as needed.
• Ensure the sales area is clean and follows all food hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Adhere to company policies and health & safety rules.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to facilitate daily operations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in bakery, café, or food retail settings.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Professional demeanor with a friendly and team-oriented personality.
• Capability to perform well in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Familiarity with basic food hygiene and safety regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum two-year educational certificate from a recognized institution).

Additional Information

This full-time position offers a monthly salary ranging from INR 30,000 to 40,000. The role is based onsite in Chennai and requires hands-on involvement throughout store operations.
