About Creative Hamlet and House of Scenes
Creative Hamlet is a Singapore-based media agency operating several entities including House of Scenes (a full-service media production house), House of Sanctity (specialising in celebrations and weddings production), and Design Praxis (a branding and design agency). The company partners with various brands and agencies across multiple sectors to produce creative, culturally relevant, and purpose-driven content. Their offerings span from concept ideation to final delivery across media such as graphic design, photography, film production, and post-production.
Role Overview
The Assistant Producer position is a contracted role for part-time engagement with a minimum period of three months, open to extension or possibility of transition to full-time. The position supports critical business administration and creative production functions within the company. Media professionals from agencies, production houses, or related fields are encouraged to apply, focusing on passion and collaborative ability over technical skills alone.
Work Arrangement
- Four workdays per week
- Hybrid work model with approximately three days onsite and one remote day weekly
- Possible shift work or weekend assignments with compensatory off-days or in-lieu days provided
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain schedules and administrative records
- Monitor potential leads and project pipelines; assist with proposals and pitch deck preparation
- Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth agency operation
- Support Producer and Executive Producer across pre-production, production, and post-production phases
- Help draft content briefs and maintain project timelines
- Coordinate research, assets, and collateral with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Assist with financial administration including recordkeeping, expense claims, and remuneration tracking
- Prepare essential documents such as scripts, storyboards, location maps, shooting schedules, call sheets, data logs, and logistics plans
- Organise and participate in production meetings including location scouting, casting, and rehearsals
- Serve as key contact for vendors and external parties and manage project correspondence
- Provide on-site assistance during shoots and events
- Capture behind-the-scenes photos and videos on set
- Perform basic video edits and adapt content for social media and other digital platforms
- Track production progress ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations and deadlines
- Manage and organise the creative asset library for team access
Candidate Requirements
- Open to candidates from any background including ITE/Nitec students, Polytechnic students, university students, fresh graduates, or those with relevant skills and a passion for the media industry
- Applicants with or pursuing qualifications such as Nitec, Diploma, or Bachelor's in Arts, Media, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields are advantageous
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent organisational and time management strengths with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with Canva and CapCut is beneficial
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro is a plus
Compensation
The remuneration for this role ranges from SGD 2,600 to SGD 2,900 per month.
