Role Overview
The Assistant Operations Manager will support the Operations Manager in managing daily hotel functions, ensuring uninterrupted smoothness across departments while upholding high service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily operational activities and workflows within the hotel.
- Track and assess performance across hotel departments, ensuring adherence to service standards.
- Improve guest satisfaction by professionally addressing feedback and resolving complaints.
- Guarantee compliance with hotel policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate interdepartmental coordination to optimize operational efficiency and meet business goals.
- Generate and interpret operational reports, monitor key performance indicators, and suggest enhancements.
- Support initiatives aimed at revenue growth while managing costs efficiently.
- Lead, motivate, and guide operational teams to achieve superior performance.
- Assume responsibilities of the Operations Manager as needed and perform additional tasks as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- At least two years of experience in hotel operations or a related role.
- Deep understanding of hotel procedures and ability to coordinate across departments.
- Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is advantageous.
- Competency in preparing and analyzing operational performance data.
- Full-time commitment with flexibility to work shifts as necessary.
- Good command of English language, both spoken and written, is preferred.
