Assistant Operations Manager – Hotel

Role Overview

The Assistant Operations Manager will support the Operations Manager in managing daily hotel functions, ensuring uninterrupted smoothness across departments while upholding high service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily operational activities and workflows within the hotel.
• Track and assess performance across hotel departments, ensuring adherence to service standards.
• Improve guest satisfaction by professionally addressing feedback and resolving complaints.
• Guarantee compliance with hotel policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate interdepartmental coordination to optimize operational efficiency and meet business goals.
• Generate and interpret operational reports, monitor key performance indicators, and suggest enhancements.
• Support initiatives aimed at revenue growth while managing costs efficiently.
• Lead, motivate, and guide operational teams to achieve superior performance.
• Assume responsibilities of the Operations Manager as needed and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• At least two years of experience in hotel operations or a related role.
• Deep understanding of hotel procedures and ability to coordinate across departments.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is advantageous.
• Competency in preparing and analyzing operational performance data.
• Full-time commitment with flexibility to work shifts as necessary.
• Good command of English language, both spoken and written, is preferred.
