Role Overview

Join as an Assistant General Manager / Assistant Director / Fitness Director who shares a passion for children, leadership, and fitness. This full-time, flexible onsite position partners closely with the General Manager to lead operational excellence and build a positive, energetic environment for kids and their parents. This role includes coaching 8-12 weekly KidStrong classes using their pre-designed workouts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide motivational leadership to coaching staff and team members.
  • Support the General Manager in achieving sales and operational targets.
  • Organize and optimize class schedules for maximum efficiency.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure high member retention.
  • Conduct high-energy workout sessions catering to children from walking age to 11 years old.
  • Engage with both parents and students to boost motivation and involvement.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new coaches to maintain program quality.
  • Implement marketing and lead-generation methods to grow memberships.
  • Manage front desk operations including member check-ins, handling inquiries, and guest registrations.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience working with children in education, coaching, fitness, or similar areas.
  • Leadership and sales experience is preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or related fields is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with technology, specifically Microsoft Office applications.
  • Required certifications (can be acquired post-hiring): CPR & First Aid, EpiPen.
  • Physical capability to lead workouts and perform activities requiring bending, kneeling, balancing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary is $49,500 annually, with additional performance bonuses structured as follows:

  • Tier 1: $500/month ($6,000/year)
  • Tier 2: $750/month ($9,000/year)
  • Tier 3: $1,000/month ($12,000/year) with unlimited earning potential based on performance

Additional benefits include paid time off, sick leave, health and dental insurance options, 401(k) retirement plan, and leadership development opportunities.
