About the Role
Join KidStrong in Edmonds as a General Manager and lead a team dedicated to enriching children's lives through brain, physical, and character development programs. As a pivotal member of the center, you will create a dynamic and positive environment for coaches, kids, and families, ensuring that every aspect of the center runs smoothly and successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators and financials to maintain operational excellence.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with team members, families, and the community.
- Ensure the center is clean, well-maintained, and operates efficiently.
- Delegate tasks effectively to your team to balance workload and maintain high performance.
- Manage your schedule flexibly, working four weekdays and one weekend day shift weekly.
- Lead sales efforts by setting targets, converting leads to memberships, and representing KidStrong at local events.
- Recruit, onboard, and train coaching staff while fostering continuous professional growth using KidStrong training tools.
- Conduct hands-on coaching in 3-5 classes weekly following the established curriculum and monitor class attendance and achievements utilizing the KS Coaches App.
- Maintain active communication with center team members, franchise management, and KidStrong headquarters via online platforms.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous coaching experience with children aged 15 months to 11 years.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with parents and guardians.
- Proficiency in technology platforms including Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and social media.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities with a commitment to high standards.
- Goal-driven mindset focused on achieving operational and developmental objectives.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
- Energetic and engaging presence to motivate and inspire all stakeholders.
- Adaptability to embrace change and innovation within the center's environment.

Additional Information
Compensation for this role ranges from $26 to $29 per hour. KidStrong centers operate as franchises; this position is with the independently owned franchise in Edmonds, Washington.
