Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Agricultural Motor Machinery Assessor to join our team at QBE Insurance, focusing on serving rural and regional areas. This role offers a fully remote work model with flexibility and includes a fully maintained company vehicle. The position is permanent, full-time, and based in either Tamworth or Dubbo, NSW.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform thorough and precise evaluations of damage to light and heavy agricultural vehicles and machinery.
- Recommend repair methods aligned with industry standards and manufacturer guidance.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with repairers, suppliers, and clients through various communication channels.
- Source and negotiate procurement of replacement parts when required.
- Provide outstanding customer service that goes beyond expectations and complies with claims service standards.
- Implement claims strategies that support business objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records within company's information technology systems.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a mechanical trade qualification and valid license relevant to the role.
- Have solid knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment with practical experience in repair methodologies.
- Claims assessment experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exhibit excellent communication and negotiation abilities, capable of fostering robust relationships.
- Efficient in planning, time management, and proficient with digital tools.
- Adopt a customer-centered approach with the readiness to travel regionally and adjust to evolving priorities.
