Role overview
Davin Industries Limited is looking for an afternoon shift supervisor to join its folding team in Christchurch. The business has been operating since 1962 and is known for precision sheetmetal fabrication and contract batch manufacturing. It works with modern production technology and skilled workmanship to handle everything from prototypes to large production runs.

Key duties
- Lead and oversee a small machine operation team during the afternoon shift.
- Carry out brake press folding and operate CNC machinery when needed.
- Plan and coordinate work orders to keep production moving smoothly.
- Follow safety procedures and company rules to maintain a safe workplace.
- Keep the work area tidy, organised, and efficient.
What we are looking for
- Proven hands-on experience with brake press folding and CNC operation.
- Dependable, punctual, and strongly focused on safety.
- Experience with turret punching or laser cutting would be an advantage.
- Strong manual dexterity and close attention to detail.
- A positive team-oriented attitude.
