Accountant

About the Role

Established Search is collaborating with a dynamic and expanding medical technology company to hire an Accountant for their Finance department in Hamburg, Germany. Key Responsibilities

• Review and process employee expense reports ensuring they comply with company policies and are accurate.
• Enhance and support expense management procedures and controls.
• Generate, distribute, and record customer invoices appropriately.
• Oversee accounts receivable functions, including tracking overdue payments and following up with clients.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to invoice discrepancies and payment queries.
• Conduct account reconciliations to maintain precise financial records.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Serve as the main point of contact for employee queries regarding expenses and processes.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to support routine finance operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in accounting, finance, accounts receivable, or related financial roles.
• Solid knowledge of invoicing, receivables, account reconciliations, and financial procedures.
• Experience handling employee expense management is a plus.
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to work across multiple teams.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Fluency in both German and English is preferred.
