Position Summary
We are currently looking for a meticulous and systematic Spare Parts and Tooling Support Specialist Graduate to join our operations team on a full-time, on-site basis in Dublin. This role involves delivering technical support to customers using Maginn Machinery equipment, managing inquiries, diagnosing problems, and guiding users through troubleshooting processes. The candidate will be trained to become a specialist in spare parts and tooling, ensuring prompt availability of precise parts and calibrated tools to technical teams, field engineers, and production lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records for spare parts, components, and specialized tools within the ERP system.
- Assemble, package, and distribute specific tool and part kits necessary for scheduled maintenance, repairs, or customer deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate orders to replenish stock, sourcing difficult-to-find items as needed.
- Inspect incoming shipments for quality, correct specifications, and damage; verify deliveries against purchase orders and manage packing slips.
- Coordinate the return and management of defective materials with vendors for repair, replacement, or warranty claims.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment utilizing 5S or equivalent lean methodology standards.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Mechanical and technical aptitude with experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and tool administration.
- Competence in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, or parts catalogs to accurately identify components.
- Exceptional attention to detail for precise data entry, part numbering, and asset tracking.
- Forklift certification is advantageous or a willingness to obtain certification.
