Role Overview
Kingdom Services Group Ltd is hiring a capable and customer-oriented Support Officer to work at CBRE Baker Hughes locations in Aberdeen (AB21 7EA) and Montrose (DD10 9EB). In this role, you will ensure a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and company property by managing gatehouse operations and controlling site access.
Working Hours and Shift Patterns
- Expected weekly working hours range from 40 to 48 hours.
- Shifts operate on a rota system including days and nights, with typical times of 06:00–18:00, 18:00–06:00, 07:00–19:00, and 19:00–07:00.
- Flexibility is required to support operational demands.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee gatehouse activities and ensure strict site access management.
- Accurately log and verify visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering and leaving the sites.
- Maintain detailed and precise site records and related documentation.
- Conduct scheduled patrols in specified areas to uphold security.
- Monitor security systems including CCTV and alarms to detect irregularities.
- Adhere to security protocols and follow site-specific instructions.
- Promptly report incidents, hazards, or any security-related concerns.
- Provide a professional, friendly first contact point for visitors and staff.
- Prepare thorough incident reports and supporting paperwork.
- Ensure the ongoing safety, security, and professionalism of the environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence is mandatory.
- Must have personal transport due to location accessibility.
- Strong communication skills and excellent customer service orientation.
- Reliable, professional attitude with confidence when undertaking duties.
- Keen observation and attention to detail.
- Capable of maintaining composure and professionalism in stressful situations.
- Basic computer literacy and IT competence.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience in gatehouse or security roles is an advantage but not essential.
- A continuous 5-year verifiable employment history is required.
