Solution Architect

Job Overview

The Solution Architect is tasked with designing comprehensive technical solutions that align with business objectives while ensuring high standards of scalability, security, performance, and adherence to enterprise guidelines. This position acts as a liaison between business demands and technological developments, providing guidance to development teams to deliver resilient system architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architecture blueprints for web, mobile, and enterprise-scale applications.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather business requirements and convert them into detailed technical designs.
• Identify and select suitable technologies, frameworks, and integration methodologies.
• Guarantee that non-functional needs, such as security, scalability, performance, and regulatory compliance, are incorporated.
• Lead technically throughout the project lifecycle to ensure quality and alignment.
• Collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Developers, and DevOps teams to oversee accurate execution and delivery.
• Perform regular architecture evaluations and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Keep abreast of new technology trends and recommend their adoption when advantageous.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Have over 7 years of experience in software design and architectural roles.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience working with microservices architectures, APIs, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with security standards and compliance frameworks, including GDPR and ISO.
• Exhibit strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
• Applicants must be currently residing in Qatar.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• TOGAF certification for enterprise architecture knowledge
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
