Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Microsoft Fabric Solutions Architect to spearhead the design and deployment of enterprise-level Microsoft Fabric solutions. This role focuses on guiding organizations through complex transitions from legacy data platforms to modern, scalable, secure, and cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement comprehensive Microsoft Fabric systems, covering OneLake, lakehouses, data warehouses, data pipelines, and Power BI semantic models.
• Perform technical evaluations and audits of legacy data environments like Teradata, SQL Server, Synapse, and HDInsight.
• Create detailed migration blueprints, phased implementation plans, and cost-benefit analyses for enterprise clients.
• Define governance strategies, security protocols, and data access controls within Fabric ecosystems.
• Lead technical delivery teams throughout migration lifecycle phases.
• Develop reusable frameworks and best practices to streamline future Microsoft Fabric deployments.
• Communicate technical direction and strategies to executive stakeholders such as Chief Data Officers and data leadership.
• Assist sales teams via technical requirement analysis, effort estimation, and proposal formulation.

Required Qualifications

• Over 10 years in data architecture and engineering domains.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure data services.
• Comprehensive skill set in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.
• Demonstrated expertise migrating enterprise data warehouses from systems like Teradata, Oracle Exadata, or Netezza.
• In-depth understanding of OneLake, Delta Lake, and lakehouse architecture principles.
• Experience with traditional ETL tools including SSIS, Informatica, or DataStage.
• Possession of Microsoft Fabric certification or its equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients and senior executives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Azure billing models and PAC tracking processes.
• Background in consulting or professional services environments.
• Cross-sector exposure, especially in healthcare, banking, or hospitality industries.
• Knowledge of AI and ML workloads, including Copilot Studio integration.
