Responsibilities
- Deliver quality implementations of automated and robotic systems, ensuring performance meets design standards in a dynamic work environment.
- Support site operations teams daily, addressing performance and workflow inquiries promptly.
- Resolve escalated issues by providing effective solutions in collaboration with operations teams.
- Conduct site visits to assist with deployments, evaluate operational readiness, perform equipment assessments, and carry out audits.
- Contribute to preventive maintenance activities, manage change request deployments, and maintain asset identification.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with automated and robotic equipment to reduce downtime effectively.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by managing Automation Vendor Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Participate in service review meetings with vendors, operations, and internal stakeholders to monitor performance and action items.
- Exemplify a proactive, solution-oriented approach and show dedication to achieving successful results.
- Perform manual handling tasks safely during equipment setup, relocation, or on-site technical operations.
Requirements
- Significant experience working in third-party logistics (3PL) or logistics operations and systems.
- Familiarity with automation technologies and systems.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical manuals and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) documentation.
- Competency in reading CAD and other technical schematics.
- Capability to plan and construct budgets and timelines for automated system implementations.
- Strong analytical thinking skills paired with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
