Role Overview

As a Senior Technical Revenue Analyst at Figma, you will play a vital role in month-end financial close activities, reporting accuracy, and operational protocols. As part of an evolving finance department, the ideal candidate is detail-focused, autonomous, and able to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic setting. This role reports to the Manager of Technical Revenue Accounting.

This position is full time, based in Figma's Dublin office with a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various departments to provide expert guidance on ASC606 or IFRS 15 standards for complex revenue contracts and transactions.
• Participate actively in closing processes including contract analysis, journal entry postings, and delivering slide deck presentations.
• Manage internal controls concerning revenue recognition and the quote-to-cash cycle.
• Drive continuous enhancements for business workflows, systems, documentation, and control measures.
• Support annual audits and quarterly reviews by preparing walkthroughs and required documentation.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at shortening the accounting close cycle.
• Provide assistance on special projects and ad-hoc requests as they arise.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of combined experience in public accounting and corporate revenue accounting, ideally within a fast-moving SaaS environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of ASC 606, including contract review and interpretation.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP platforms (such as NetSuite, Workday, Oracle) coupled with strong Excel abilities.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Attributes

• CPA certification or CPA candidacy favored.
• Experience in SOX-compliant public companies.
• High competency in using NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management with multi-currency handling is a plus.
