Role Summary
This role is central to the Australasian Sales, Distribution and Modern Retailing team, which is critical to Qantas’ ongoing commercial transformation. The position involves coordinating daily business activities, facilitating executive and operational support, managing priorities, and aiding the delivery of multiple key projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Manager and senior leadership within areas including corporate/SME sales, modern retailing strategy, agency channels, and the Jetconnect New Zealand business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain efficient administrative and operational support for the Sales and Distribution team across Australasia.
- Provide executive assistance by managing priorities and supporting strategic project delivery.
- Coordinate cross-regional stakeholder engagements and prepare high-level executive documentation.
- Maintain complex calendars, assist with global distribution projects, and support corporate hospitality and events management.
- Monitor expenses and everyday business processes while driving continuous process improvements.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- At least five years of experience in executive support roles.
- Experience in business coordination, preferably within aviation, travel, or commercial sectors.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Proficient in preparing reports, presentations, and executive communications.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Power BI is highly advantageous.
