Role Overview

This on-site Photographer position, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, plays a crucial role in capturing premium images of food, beverages, interior spaces, events, and brand activities that reflect Foodsmith's aesthetic standards. The photographer will work closely with marketing and design teams to produce visual content supporting menus, campaigns, social media, and promotional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong photography abilities with a portfolio featuring food, product, or lifestyle photography.
• Photograph company events, products, marketing materials, and social media content professionally.
• Organize and prepare photo sessions by setting up lighting, backgrounds, and equipment.
• Edit and retouch images using photo-editing software to enhance visual quality.
• Maintain and organize a digital archive of photos.
• Collaborate effectively with marketing and design teams to fulfill creative objectives.
• Ensure all photographic content is aligned with the brand’s visual and style guidelines.
• Manage and upkeep photography equipment to maintain functionality and readiness.
• Plan and execute daily photo shoots, including styling and lighting setups, and prepare files for both print and digital use.
• Keep abreast of current photography trends, techniques, and technology.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in photo editing and retouching tools such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Proven experience working professionally as a photographer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of studio and natural lighting, composition, and storytelling through visuals.
• Ability to plan and carry out photo shoots with attention to styling and set arrangement.
• Willingness to work evenings or weekends for special events as needed.
• Familiarity in producing content tailored for digital platforms, social media, and marketing campaigns.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Team player with good communication and collaboration skills working alongside culinary, operations, and marketing departments.
• Relevant academic background or training in photography, visual arts, media, or related disciplines is preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or lifestyle brand photography is advantageous.
• Must be able to work onsite in Riyadh and comply with local workplace regulations and policies.
