Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a diligent Payroll Specialist to join our HR team, ensuring precise and compliant payroll processing within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee routine monthly and special payroll runs including processing salaries, bonuses, and festive advances while verifying data and preparing reports for payment approvals.
- Manage employee claims and reimbursements such as overtime, night duty allowances, and government-paid leaves, maintaining accurate records.
- Assist payroll audits by organizing necessary documents and addressing audit inquiries promptly.
- Conduct payroll financial reconciliations including bank account reconciliations, accounting adjustments, and billing for manpower secondments.
- Ensure all statutory payroll submissions are completed on schedule covering CPF contributions, annual tax reports, IR21 forms, and other mandated filings.
- Engage in payroll system improvements and participate in User Acceptance Testing for new implementations or upgrades.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll data throughout all related documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma holder in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accountancy, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years' payroll processing experience, ideally within environments managing large employee volumes.
- Thorough knowledge of Singapore's payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with HR Information Systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical capabilities paired with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- High sense of responsibility and capacity to handle confidential information professionally.
- Effective communication skills and a positive, cooperative approach to teamwork.
Working Conditions
- Office presence required at Changi Airport location.
- Work schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
