About the Role and Organisation

An exciting opportunity is available to join the busy and supportive Outpatient Reception team at Royal Gwent Hospital as a Health Records Clerk. This role plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality patient care by managing reception duties, patient admissions and discharges, and assisting with patient appointments and records. You will be fully supported by the Health Records management team with comprehensive training and development opportunities to advance your career within the service.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the reception team to provide an efficient and comprehensive service.
  • Conduct various reception, telephone, and clerical duties such as greeting patients and managing admissions and discharges of Day Case procedures.
