About Us
Ko Taku Reo Deaf Education New Zealand is dedicated to delivering outstanding education and support services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing learners along with their families across Aotearoa. Role Overview
The Corporate Services Administrator will be instrumental in managing reception duties, administration, facilities, and operational assistance throughout the organisation. Serving as the initial contact for visitors, staff, contractors, and stakeholders, the role fosters a professional and welcoming workplace atmosphere. This is a full-time permanent position located in Tāmaki Makaurau, reporting to the Administration Manager based in Ōtautahi.
Key Duties
- Oversee reception operations and respond to inquiries
- Arrange meeting rooms, catering, and manage office facility logistics
- Handle mail, courier services, and confidential communication
- Maintain office supplies and consumables inventory
- Coordinate facilities-related tasks including equipment and contractor access
- Receive, monitor, and distribute assets and equipment across the country
- Keep accurate records of assets and inventory
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and support teamwork
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator who excels in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating pride in delivering exceptional service. The individual will be well-organized, meticulous, and capable of handling multiple priorities skillfully and professionally.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in administration
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly adapt to new systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities combined with a proactive mindset
- Effective interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships
- Proficiency in New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) or eagerness to learn
