Job description
Job Overview
This position is accountable for supervising and facilitating procurement processes related to projects and agreements outside the scope of standard procurement policies. The role also involves conducting assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities resulting from regulatory requirements, following the company's official business policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for projects and agreements not governed by usual procurement regulations.
- Coordinate sector project tenders by preparing bidding documentation such as RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and PRs, and assist in the evaluation stage through to contract award and signing.
- Support procurement of telecommunications capacities and services from both local and international operators.
- Assist in drafting, analyzing, negotiating, and executing contracts related to General Management transactions.
- Establish and sustain effective relationships with vendors, clients, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure comprehensive management of contract documents and communications.
- Present contract data and updates to relevant stakeholders as required.
- Monitor contract timelines to coordinate renewals or extensions in collaboration with applicable parties.
- Participate in process development aimed at supervising key contract milestones including renewal, termination, and deliverables.
- Contribute to corporate policies and strategic commissioning frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, legal, marketing teams, and other departments across sectors.
- Prepare and manage correspondence, including briefs, emails, letters, and reports.
- Generate periodic reports detailing contract statuses for senior leadership.
- Support negotiation and management of leasing agreements.
- Coordinate contract approval requests with legal for review and authorization.
- Assist in evaluating contract change requests and manage communications with finance and procurement for approval processes.
Experience and Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience specifically with service contracts and agreements is required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Law; Master's degree in Business Administration or Law preferred.
- Additional professional certifications are advantageous.
