Role Overview
The Client Success Support Specialist plays a vital role in onboarding and supporting clients using Civitech’s civic tools and data. This position contributes to mobilizing voters and constituents to take governmental action at all levels. The role involves delivering consistent and high-quality support to clients and end users through managing support tickets, maintaining client relationships, and improving user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships from contract signing through rollout to offboarding.
- Build strong client connections tailored to their unique contracts and needs.
- Monitor product use and engage clients proactively to ensure optimal value.
- Respond efficiently to support requests submitted by candidates, voters, clients, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-departmental projects with effective prioritization and delegation.
- Ensure data integrity within internal tools such as HubSpot, Asana, and HelpScout.
- Create and update user support resources, including videos and help articles.
- Troubleshoot and update sites developed in-house using basic programming and proprietary software.
- Collaborate closely with Client Success teams and colleagues in Marketing, Sales, Data, and Product departments.
- Serve as an advocate for customers and end users within the company.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in customer service with a strong focus on client and user advocacy.
- Ability to work collaboratively to solve problems proactively and creatively.
- Familiarity with political organizations and election cycles, including campaigns and advocacy groups.
- Passion for using technology and data to help elect Democratic candidates and promote progressive causes.
Desired Additional Skills (Not Required)
- Technical skills such as spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel) with formulas.
- Knowledge of SQL and database structures.
- Experience with JSON and CSS.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Slack, and Asana platforms.
- Project management experience.
Role Details
This individual contributor position is part of the Client Success Team reporting to the Client Success Program Manager. The team aims to deliver excellent service and maintain strong client connections to help clients consistently achieve their electoral objectives.
Work Eligibility and Company Policies
The company is remote-first, with positions open to candidates residing in 27 specified US states, including Texas where the company also has an office. Civitech requires independent US work authorization as it does not provide visa sponsorship. Employment eligibility will be verified via E-Verify after an offer is accepted.
