Role Overview
The Automotive Software Onboarding Specialist for Fixed Operations focuses on facilitating customer training and support during the deployment of the PBS v10 Apex software, specifically within Parts & Service departments. This individual will help users integrate the platform seamlessly into their daily routines, ensuring engagement, knowledge retention, and successful adoption through virtual sessions and ongoing assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance dealership operational flow by guiding effective software usage of PBS v10 Apex.
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the PBS v10 Apex suite and its training methodology.
- Provide support during software deployment, transition, and encourage active adoption within daily fixed operations.
- Conduct virtual training sessions tailored to assigned software modules.
- Promote best practices to maximize product utilization and long-term customer success.
- Follow up post-training to bolster retention and user confidence.
- Identify and address customer gaps in software use and comprehension.
- Foster strong client relationships by understanding and meeting their needs.
- Respond promptly to training requests internally and externally.
- Document and escalate software issues appropriately.
- Monitor and manage the v10 Apex support queue consistently.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation reflecting any process changes.
- Share expertise within the team and across modules to enhance collective knowledge.
- Commit to continuous learning of new products and cross-training initiatives.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience within a car dealership, specializing in Fixed Operations.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and rapid software adaptability.
- Strong presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service acumen and phone manners.
- Competent in documentation and record keeping.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Able to multitask and prioritize without supervision.
- Minimum education: High School Diploma.

Additional Information
There are two available vacancies for this full-time permanent position located onsite in Calgary, Alberta. The role reports to the Manager of Software Training & Transitions.
