Overview
Chandigarh University invites applications for the role of Assistant Manager – AI based in Mohali, Punjab. This position is pivotal in advancing AI initiatives that support the university's digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and oversee AI-powered solutions across various university departments.
- Identify and exploit opportunities to optimize workflows and automate processes using AI technologies.
- Collaborate with different teams to create and implement AI applications.
- Stay updated on the latest AI innovations, tools, and advancements to foster continuous improvement.
- Analyze datasets to extract meaningful insights via AI and machine learning approaches.
- Facilitate the integration of AI tools within academic, administrative, and operational frameworks.
- Maintain adherence to data security, privacy laws, and ethical guidelines concerning AI.
- Organize and conduct training sessions to enhance understanding of AI technologies and best practices among stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related disciplines.
- Certifications in AI/ML considered beneficial.
- Strong grasp of AI concepts including Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models.
- Proficiency with AI frameworks and tools such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI APIs, and LangChain.
- Experience in data analytics, automation, and methods for deploying AI solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities coupled with strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic, fast-evolving environment.
