Role Overview
The Admission Counsellor serves as the primary contact for prospective students and their parents, providing guidance and support throughout the admissions process. The ideal candidate is approachable, empathetic, and skilled in communication, with a passion for fostering youth growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and guardians about available programs, understanding individual career goals and learning needs.
- Recommend appropriate courses tailored to each student's aspirations and confidence levels.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed admissions by explaining course details like curriculum, duration, fees, and benefits.
- Complete admission procedures and maintain precise student records.
- Manage walk-in and digital enquiries by phone, WhatsApp, email, and social media, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Build and nurture trustful relationships with students and parents to facilitate referrals and collect testimonials.
- Support organizational events such as seminars, workshops, career sessions, and education fairs, and coordinate campus visits.
- Prepare daily counseling reports, maintain admission databases, and collaborate with trainers on new enrollments.
- Assist in fee collection and related documentation when necessary.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate degree in any discipline; MBA or PGDM is desirable but not mandatory.
- Between 1 to 4 years of experience in educational counseling, admissions, sales, customer relationship management, EdTech, training institutes, or skill development sectors.
- Fresh graduates demonstrating excellent communication abilities and a zeal for counseling are also encouraged to apply.
Skills and Attributes
- Fluency in Hindi and English with strong verbal and presentation skills.
- Active listening and persuasive communication capabilities.
- A confident, positive, empathetic, patient, and self-driven personality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM platforms, WhatsApp Business, and basic social media usage.
- Well-organized, disciplined, target-oriented, with a professional demeanor and high integrity.

- Meeting monthly admission goals consistently.
- High enquiry-to-admission conversion ratios.
- Number of counseling sessions conducted and effectiveness of follow-ups.
- Positive satisfaction ratings from students and parents.
- Generating referral admissions and timely maintenance of reports and CRM data.
