Accounting Manager

Role Overview

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for maintaining the organization's financial status by designing and applying systems to gather, analyze, verify, and report financial data. This role ensures accuracy and compliance of financial reports with relevant standards and delivers regular updates to senior leadership as well as an annual budgeting plan.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and manage financial information systems to track and report accounting data effectively.
• Supervise daily accounting department activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Support strategic initiatives by providing valuable accounting data and insights.
• Forecast financial requirements, create annual budgets, track expenditures, analyze discrepancies, and recommend corrective measures.
• Monitor revenue and expense flows, compile and assess financial data, and generate special reports for management.
• Advise various departments by interpreting accounting policies and recommending practical applications.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to secure financial data and organizational assets.
• Establish and uphold accounting control procedures including a comprehensive chart of accounts and defined policies.
• Ensure confidentiality of all sensitive financial information to protect company interests.
