Role overview
This leadership position focuses on creating and scaling a high-performance enterprise data platform that supports investment decision-making, analytics, and AI initiatives. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and sits within a major investment organisation undergoing large-scale data transformation.
What you will do
- Lead the architecture, buildout, and delivery of a modern enterprise data platform.
- Develop cloud-first data solutions using Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure.
- Create scalable data products that support investment workflows, reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
- Oversee the ingestion, integration, and governance of complex market, portfolio, and external third-party data.
- Embed strong standards for data quality, governance, observability, and platform reliability/performance.
- Work closely with Data Science, Analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver AI-ready data foundations.
Required background
- A Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or another related STEM field is required.
