Role Overview

The Senior Services Consultant in the aPay Dayforce team plays a pivotal role across the entire implementation lifecycle—covering discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-launch assistance—working under the Project Manager’s guidance. You may also oversee certain phases to ensure high-quality payroll solutions are delivered to our customers.

Key Duties

• Gather and confirm customer business requirements, aligning them with aPay Dayforce functionalities.
• Develop and document innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
• Configure aPay Dayforce modules to reflect business requirements.
• Lead consulting sessions both remotely and on-site, documenting outcomes thoroughly.
• Engage actively in customer testing cycles, quickly resolving any issues.
• Report on project status during internal meetings, tracking progress and deliverables.
• Offer follow-up consulting and general support to clients in your areas of expertise.
• Function as a subject matter resource for specific functional areas, assisting internal and external stakeholders.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or similar qualifications.
• Between five to seven years in software implementation roles; prior payroll or HR system experience, especially Ascender Pay, is advantageous though not mandatory.
• Proven experience with software design, implementation, and documentation.
• Strong analytical aptitude coupled with creative and critical thinking abilities for effective decision-making to achieve project goals.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with client consulting experience.
• Excellent organizational skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within project teams.
