About the Role
CocoaVie is on the lookout for a Junior Chocolatier to join our intimate, hands-on team in Mumbai. We specialize in producing high-quality chocolate products crafted by hand at every stage, emphasizing artisanal techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Create handcrafted bonbons, pralines, chocolate bars, and seasonal chocolate collections.
- Innovate by developing new chocolate flavors, recipes, and limited edition products.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including tempering, enrobing, molding, finishing, and packaging of chocolates.
- Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and equipment maintenance standards in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with team members during product launches, tastings, and manage the dynamic environment of a busy chocolate kitchen.
Candidate Profile
- Possess at least 2 years of practical experience working in a chocolate or pastry kitchen environment.
- Strong foundational skills in chocolate tempering, ganache preparation, and various chocolate techniques.
- Energetic and able to thrive in a fast-moving kitchen setting with minimal downtime.
- Exceptional attention to detail, recognizing the importance of precision in chocolate work.
- A passion for the craft and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Additional advantage for candidates with experience in recipe development or launching new products.
