Role Overview
The HR Data Analyst role supports Human Resources Technology and Shared Services by managing daily reporting, conducting data analysis, performing audits, and maintaining data integrity across Workday and related HR systems. This position collaborates with various departments including HRIS, Payroll, Legal, Internal Audit, Accounting, HR Centers of Excellence, and Restaurant Operations to deliver accurate and actionable human resources data.
The role is primarily remote with a base at the Tampa Restaurant Support Center. Candidates should reside within commuting distance and be able to attend the office periodically.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and improve Workday reports and dashboards catering to operational and functional stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to capture reporting needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Enhance the usability and efficiency of existing reports and support the development of standardized reporting formats.
- Handle ad hoc reporting requests from HR, Legal, Internal Audit, Accounting, and leadership, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
- Analyze data trends to derive insights that aid business decisions.
- Perform regular and ad hoc data audits to identify inconsistencies and work with HRIS and business partners to resolve issues.
- Maintain documentation related to data audits and reporting workflows.
- Assist with mass data uploads (EIBs), data validation, reconciliation, system integration support, and troubleshooting integration-related data issues.
- Partner with HRIS to monitor trends affecting data, integrations, or reporting quality.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in HRIS, data analytics, or reporting roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Workday reporting is preferred.
- Familiarity with data audits, reporting validation processes, and working with HR or Payroll data is an advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset with acute attention to detail ensuring data accuracy.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Capability to interpret data and identify patterns or trends.
- Trustworthy judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information.
