Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and manage trash removal across all factory zones including the production floor, break rooms, smoking areas, storage, and office spaces.
• Oversee cleaning supply inventory and ensure availability of approved cleaning materials.
• Adhere to established cleaning protocols and suggest improvements when necessary.
• Conduct inspections to detect vandalism or unauthorized access and promptly report unsafe or irregular conditions.
• Thoroughly clean restrooms including floors, walls, fixtures, appliances, and mirrors, as well as restock necessary supplies.
• Clean walking and dining areas, maintain cleanliness of drinking fountains, and handle urgent clean-ups efficiently.
• Perform emergency cleaning duties in accordance with AIB standards and company policies without delay.
• Provide guidance and training support to third-party vendors to ensure understanding of expectations.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Prior experience in industrial cleaning within a food manufacturing or food contact environment preferred.
• Capable of effective communication, reading, and following instructions accurately.
• Visual acuity for near and far vision is required.
• Physical demands include standing, stooping, kneeling, twisting, bending, reaching, and pulling for shifts exceeding eight hours, along with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a production or warehouse setting characterized by noise and moving machinery.
