Key Responsibilities

• Politely and warmly greet every customer entering the store.
• Efficiently process all purchase transactions, including deactivating merchandise in line with the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) system.
• Promote Walmart’s endorsed programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charity campaigns.
• Assist customers in bagging and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to safe work procedures, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Safeguard register security by handling cash carefully, complying with company protocols, and staying alert to surroundings.
• Direct customers to the Customer Service Manager for additional service or complex transaction needs.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.90 (CAD), with the same rate applicable in French-speaking contexts.

• Applicants must be aged 16 years or older.
