Business Systems Analyst

About the Role

MatchBox Consulting Group is recruiting a Business Systems Analyst for a 6-month contract assignment based in Vancouver. This role involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document essential business and technical requirements, driving the success of integration and digital commerce projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and evaluate business, functional, and non-functional requirements from both business and technology stakeholders.
• Support Agentic Commerce projects, focusing on areas such as SEO/GEO improvements, structured data implementation, product feed management, and optimizing product attributes.
• Lead workshops with stakeholders to facilitate requirements gathering for integration and digital commerce efforts.
• Assist in vendor evaluation processes for integration platform as a service (iPaaS) options, including managing RFP and RFI activities, scoring vendors, and providing recommendations.
• Work closely with architecture, engineering, product, and business units to define technical solutions that ensure timely and successful project execution.
• Contribute to proof-of-concept projects by delivering business analysis and actionable feedback related to new Agentic Commerce use cases.

Qualifications and Skills

• Over five years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in complex enterprise technology projects.
• Strong understanding of APIs, system integration methods, data flow, and backend architecture.
• Familiarity with digital commerce platforms and product data management, including SEO/GEO knowledge, structured data standards, and product feed optimization, is highly advantageous.
• Proven expertise in leading requirements gathering and documentation efforts involving cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting vendor assessments, including participation in RFP and RFI processes and solution selection is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging technical and business perspectives.
