Role Overview
The Restaurant Waiter/Waitress is tasked with delivering attentive and effective food and beverage services to guests across various areas such as the outlet, poolside, lounge, and beach. This position plays a critical role in ensuring outstanding guest experiences through maintaining cleanliness in the front-of-house (FOH) areas and upholding high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests and facilitate a pleasant dining experience from arrival.
- Provide detailed menu explanations, address customer inquiries, and accurately record orders.
- Promptly and professionally serve food and drinks, ensuring top quality service.
- Continuously gauge guest satisfaction, anticipate requests, and respond swiftly to needs.
- Handle guest billing and payment processes with precision when necessary.
- Support the preparation and dismantling of the dining area by arranging furniture and service stations daily.
- Keep the dining environment clean, organized, and presentable throughout shifts, including clearing and resetting tables.
- Ensure all service stations are replenished with necessary items such as cutlery, napkins, and condiments.
- Clear away used dishes, glassware, and linens promptly and hand them over to the stewarding team.
- Communicate guest orders and special requests accurately to kitchen and bar staff.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Adhere strictly to restaurant policies, procedures, and service protocols.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Positive and guest-centered attitude combined with professional and polite conduct.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage professionally with guests and team members.

Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent level of education is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in customer service or food and beverage roles within hotels, resorts, or busy restaurants is desirable.
