About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Training Department Manager to lead our organization's training activities, promoting the enhancement of employees' technical, professional, and leadership skills in support of business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive training and development strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Oversee the Training Department to ensure effective delivery of diverse training programs.
- Conduct assessments to identify organizational and personnel training needs.
- Prepare annual training plans and budgets reflecting business and departmental requirements.
- Design and supervise programs covering technical skills, professional growth, leadership, and compliance.
- Assess training program effectiveness using relevant performance indicators.
- Manage partnerships with external training providers, consultants, and academic institutions.
- Ensure all training aligns with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Develop and update training-related documents, including policies, procedures, and manuals.
- Monitor training expenditures and measure return on investment.
- Maintain a detailed training schedule to ensure timely program delivery.
- Introduce contemporary learning methods such as e-learning, blended approaches, and digital solutions.
- Support initiatives for career development, succession planning, and employee growth.
- Compile reports on training outcomes and present findings to senior management.
- Lead and enhance the Training Department team's performance continuously.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or related disciplines.
- 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development or Training, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in crafting and implementing corporate training strategies and programs.
- Strong command of training needs analysis, competency framework development, and evaluation techniques.
- Experience managing training budgets and collaborating with third-party training providers.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Preferred professional certifications include CPTD, CIPD, SHRM, or equivalents.
