About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Training Department Manager to lead our organization's training activities, promoting the enhancement of employees' technical, professional, and leadership skills in support of business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive training and development strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Oversee the Training Department to ensure effective delivery of diverse training programs.
  • Conduct assessments to identify organizational and personnel training needs.
  • Prepare annual training plans and budgets reflecting business and departmental requirements.
  • Design and supervise programs covering technical skills, professional growth, leadership, and compliance.
  • Assess training program effectiveness using relevant performance indicators.
  • Manage partnerships with external training providers, consultants, and academic institutions.
  • Ensure all training aligns with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Develop and update training-related documents, including policies, procedures, and manuals.
  • Monitor training expenditures and measure return on investment.
  • Maintain a detailed training schedule to ensure timely program delivery.
  • Introduce contemporary learning methods such as e-learning, blended approaches, and digital solutions.
  • Support initiatives for career development, succession planning, and employee growth.
  • Compile reports on training outcomes and present findings to senior management.
  • Lead and enhance the Training Department team's performance continuously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or related disciplines.
  • 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development or Training, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in crafting and implementing corporate training strategies and programs.
  • Strong command of training needs analysis, competency framework development, and evaluation techniques.
  • Experience managing training budgets and collaborating with third-party training providers.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Preferred professional certifications include CPTD, CIPD, SHRM, or equivalents.
