Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and disciplined Trainee Bakery Chef to join our team. The candidate must have completed at least a six-month craft course in bakery or confectionery and will train under seasoned chefs to assist in producing top-quality baked goods. Ensuring hygiene, quality, and compliance with production standards is critical in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing bakery items such as bread, cakes, pastries, cookies, and specialized products
- Accurately follow standardized recipes and production procedures
- Participate in scaling, mixing, baking, and finishing tasks
- Maintain workstation cleanliness aligned with food safety protocols
- Handle ingredients responsibly to reduce waste
- Learn and apply baking methods including fermentation and emulsification
- Collaborate as part of a team to complete daily objectives
- Follow guidance from senior chefs and continuously develop baking skills
Eligibility and Required Skills
- Completed a minimum six-month craft course in Bakery & Confectionery from a recognized institute
- Basic understanding of bakery ingredients and production processes
- Freshers or applicants with up to one year of experience are eligible
- Familiarity with baking techniques and ingredients
